The Bible assures us that there is one relationship that we need to be confident in: that we follow the right leader !

  1. BEWARE OF THE DECEPTION OF   PEOPLE.
  2.       Paul’s letter of ________, encouragement & instruction.
    1. Paul warned the elders of Ephesus to guard the flock  (Acts 20:29)
    2. Our __________ has seen many persuasive deceiving speakers.

 

  1. BEWARE OF THE  OF SATAN’S POWERS.
  2. Jesus ____________ Satan, demons and the powers of darkness.
  3. Jesus gave His ____________ power to victoriously fight and win. Matthew 10, Mark 6 & Luke 9 & 10. That power CONTINUES!
  4. Companions of Jesus sometimes ________________ God’s will. (Matthew 16:23).
  5. Jesus gives us the ___________ to victoriously fight and defeat all evil. Believers of Christ are promised: 1) the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38); 2) God in us (Galatians 4:6); 3) God limits evil (I Cor 10:13); 4) angels protect & assist us (Hebrews 1:14; Ps.91:11); 5) continual presence of Jesus (Matthew 28:20); and, 6) Spiritual armor to guard against and fight all evil (Ephesians 6:10-12), gained through LEARNING HIS SCRIPTURE.

              How much time do you devote to learn scripture in preparation for this spiritual battle?

Righteousness is determined by God; not by popular poling, our feelings or majority vote. God does not change. His guideline = Bible.

Jesus says, “Come to Me… Learn from Me.” He warns us to watch out for the deception of the enemies of God.
